I always start out new seasons with a closet purge which not only makes room for all the new styles it also helps me find older pieces that are relevant again. This is exactly what happened when I dug up this asymmetrical mini skirt from a few years back. I made it fresh again with of-the -moment white ankle boots and this wonderfully soft and flattering ruffled sweater from Red Haute Clothing who have been killing it with their fall sweater selection (remember this one). I think I would be ok wearing ruffled sweaters all autumn long, the knit fabric makes it easier to push the sleeves up when you’re eating which is always an issue with full sleeve tops. I really want to wear this Fishermans cap with every single fall outfit I put together but don’t want to bore you all, I guess Im just going to have to find another hat style to satiate the need.
If you follow my Instagram feed you saw my announcement yesterday that we lost our beloved kitty Sharkie who was featured in my last post. He was seventeen years old and lived a charmed life, he was with me from my post college days, when I got married, bought our house and had my son. Its hard to imagine him not being around anymore but it warms my heart that I was able to have him on the blog before he passed which was a complete coincidence as he was not sick for long it all happened pretty quickly but peacefully.
Hope you all have a wonderful day, make sure you give your furry friends a big hug.
