Keeping things easy, breezy, comfy and maybe even a little geeky is the name of my style game right now. All these pieces; the green floral top, wide leg pants and yes even the dad sandals have been my go to pieces this summer. You may remember this post with the same flowing pants in green, I love them so much I had to get another pair in super versatile black. The bucket hat is a big trend this year really punctuating that 90’s tourist feel in every outfit, it’s definitely not a look for everyone but I lived through the original version of it so I feel I can pull it off second time around. I had a coveted Stüssy bucket hat that I wore ALL the time in the 90’s which I recently gave to my son …and he lost it while boating on our trip to Tahoe last week. Perhaps I’ll hang on to this one for 20 years in hopes the trend will return again. I know dad sandals aren’t super flattering they’re right up there with Birkenstocks but I am so glad they were on trend this summer with Covid lockdown anything that’s comfortable and easy has been welcome in my wardrobe.
