Bespoke Ruffled Skirt & Bustier.

Bespoke is always better, but it’s unfortunately not a common practice anymore. I remember my dad always getting custom made suits back when he was still working as a geologist, he always looked like a golden era movie star. Fast fashion is the way most shop these days and its just not good for the environment. I had the opportunity to work with Kathy C Vang a NYC based designer who’s pieces are all made to order to custom fit each customer. Its a super simple process, you fill out a measurement form pick your items and they will get shipped to you. It does not take much longer than any other online clothing order. Theres this really amazing feeling when wearing something that fits your body perfectly. I love that this outfit is two pieces, together it definitely has a special occasion feel but separately I can make it more casual; the bustier with some cut off shorts and the skirt with a tank or band tee.

This weekend we change our clocks forward for Daylight Savings and I know most people hate it but I LOVE the change and the longer days. Spring is very much near and it makes me so happy I want to twirl around in this fabulous skirt!
