Big Bow, Black Leather.

I love Big Bows, I cannot lie… sorry I couldn’t help myself and quote Sir Mixalot.  There is something so chic, so feminine and so French about a big bow. I initially styled this sweater with a velvet midi skirt but the whole thing was just too girly and I felt that pairing this sweet sweater with some edgy faux leather pants would be more my style. These vegan leather pants from Revolve are so buttery soft and they actually run a little bit large.  I decided not to exchange them for a smaller size because I like that they have looser fit. I feel most of my leatherette pants have a slim or legging style fit and I was ready for a change. These pants are seriously so comfy I could easily lounge around the house in them which is exactly how I’m going to get maximum use out of these for now.

While I’m on the topic of change we headed up to the mountains this weekend for a change of scenery and our son wanted to see some snow. He usually gets his fill of snow when we go to Canada for the holidays but that obviously did not happen this year.  Although I have been to Big Bear many times I had never been to Lake Arrowhead which is less than an hour away. It is such a charming little mountain town surrounding a beautiful lake and there was so much snow! We only went up for the day but we will definitely go back up and get some skiing in soon.  Football is not really my thing so no SuperBowl coverage here…hope you had a great weekend!
