Black Capri Pants, White Bandage Top.

I always welcome the return of capri pants or pedal pushers if you prefer. They are such a summer classic – Jackie O, Brigitte Bardot & MaryAnn from Gilligans Island all wore capri pants in their day and they couldn’t have been sexier but demure at the same time. I paired mine with a blazer and heels for a more dressed up look but definitely intend to wear them with flats and sweater sets or crop tops. I just got another pair in white which I will be shooting very soon and have also been eyeballing a denim pair!

This white bandage top totally gives Alaïa vibes and is actually a swimsuit top – I find myself using swimwear as crop tops a lot I always feel they have a better selection of styles in swimwear and the quality of the fabric is also usually better. This top doesn’t feel like swimwear; its not your typical shiny stretchy fabric so it really does work as a top.

We are heading into the unofficial start of summer with the upcoming long weekend – I feel this year is already going so fast but excited about all the possibilities of travel this summer. Were starting off with a trip to Lake Tahoe and another local getaway planned for next month, with hopefully more to come!
