Black Lace Maxi Skirt.

I had a jam packed weekend filled with events, dinners, a milestone birthday party and a family spa day. When I have this much going on I typically opt for all black outfits to make things easy. I wore this black lace maxi to the birthday party Saturday night which was at a club in Hollywood. I did, however, wear it with a sleek black turtleneck sweater to keep the chill off,  I guess it’s one of those things that you actually think about the older you get. Growing up in Canada I recall the days when I would hit the clubs bare legged in below freezing temps, comfort is definitely more of a consideration these days.

In case you missed my Instagram post, I attended LA’s Frieze Art Fair with my husband on Friday (wore all black + leopard that night too) its one of my favorite events of the year. I love checking out all the art and the people watching and style inspo is top notch, I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area it typically takes place in mid to late February.
