Its been extraordinarily cold and rainy the past month here in Southern California so it really does not feel like spring, in fact it feels much more reminiscent of a California winter. I do see the sunshine on the horizon (my weather app says so) so we just have to stick it out a few more days until were back to sunny, warm California normal. I have realized this year more than any prior that we are extremely spoiled in terms of weather here and I have definitely acclimated from my Canadian upbringing. This sunshine yellow beret and matching clutch bring a little spring style to my classic black and white look. I love the scalloped hem on these super cute pants, I would recommend sizing down on these as I would’ve liked them a little more cropped but they’re still super cute and pair well with this backless crop top. I wasn’t going to add the blazer but it was so cold the day we shot this I threw it on and love how it adds a classic feel with those fabulous (obsessed) gold buttons!
Its spring break for the kids in our community and the rain is making it a drag so Im off to take the kids to the movies to brighten their day, maybe Ill wear this beret to help the cause! Happy Hump Day loves, xoxo ~Zia
