Checkered Cardi, Vegan Leather Shorts.

I wore this look while I was in New York last month but didn’t get any good shots of it so I recreated it for my last photo shoot. I had my eye on this checkered cardi in the spring when it was first available at Nordstrom but I didn’t buy it until it went on sale in June at which point it was much too warm for a cardigan. I finally pulled it out again for fall, and the color combo definitely works better for this season then spring in my opinion. I wore these shorts earlier this spring (see here) but I love that this shade of beige works for all seasons. I was so thrilled when I realized the shorts were a perfect match with this cropped button down shirt, pieces like this are pretty much timeless so if you can find your size I recommend grabbing one ASAP.

Who else agrees that October is one of the best months of the year? The weather is always perfect here in California, and its a time when I personally feel I can relax a little. Its the calm between the storms of summer and the holidays. I have a really low key weekend lined up (with the exception of tonight, keep an eye on my Stories) organizing my closet and maybe watching Dahmer … still not sure about that one even though Im a true crime addict!
