Cherry Red Mini & Mesh Top, Merlot Accessories.

I was quite pleasantly surprised how well this deep red mini matched with this mesh top and blazer. I was on the hunt for burgundy pieces but ended up with more of a cherry red but paired the monochrome outfit with burgundy and gold accessories for a very festive holiday look. Wearing head to toe red may not be for everyone but each of these pieces are great additions to any holiday wardrobe. Minis with knee high boots are a big trend this year I will be wearing this skirt with black tights, knee high socks and my new riding boots and this mesh top will get me through many holiday events with a quick change of the piece I wear on the bottom; denim, sequin pants or a full skirt. This red velvet blazer is part of a two piece set from last year (see here) and the jacket gets a lot of wear, its the perfect topper for any holiday outfit.

I had four holiday events back to back from Wednesday through Saturday last week and Im still feeling super run down – this week isn’t as crazy but I’m definitely looking forward to some downtime and more visits to the spa ( hint, hint) Hope your week is off to a great start! xo Zia
