To say my life has been chaotic the past month would be an understatement and adding a trip to attend Coachella Music Festival events compounded that chaos. Shortly after recovering from being sick I dove head first into catching up on life: hosting an Easter Brunch, creating loads of content then heading to the desert festival circuit for a couple of days. The main event for me was Revolve Festival, I did not attend any of the Coachella music events – the musical line ups just don’t appeal to me anymore (I’m an indie music girl) but the parties are still fun . My pal JP and I really kept things low key and did a little thrifting, lunching and had some jacuzzi and wine time at our hotel. Our first event, for Nylon Magazine, didn’t start until 10:30 PM and for these working mamas it was grueling to motivate to go out so late, but we did it!!
Day two was all about sleeping in – getting glam and heading out to brunch before the events. We got super lucky with our brunch spot, they were hosting an Aperol Spritz party and the first spritz was on the house. Aprés Spritz we headed off to Thermal which is about 30 mins from Palm Springs proper where we were staying. First stop was Revolve which was much different from last year. It was a lot smaller and invite only and far more enjoyable as it was easier to get to and easier to find friends. Our second and last event of the day was Zoeasis by the Zoe Report. With a cocktail and stunning sunset it was a beautiful way to wind down our desert festival weekend. If you’ve never been but have been considering a trip to the desert for Coachella and all the parties/events that surround it, I would say go for it! Do it at least once, it is definitely a lot of fun!

Hi Zia! So glad to hear you recovered from your bad cold just in time to take a fun trip. I had it the same time you did – a really bad, nonCOVID cold for two weeks. Are these super-viruses now or what! Anyway, your fashions are always fantastic, but the backdrops to these pics are pure eye candy! Love the one with the two palms, very Wes Anderson symmetric.
