Wearing denim high and low is just plain easy and can be very chic if done right. Double denim doesn’t always look great and can have the tendency to look like you’re wearing some sort of uniform. For me the trick to avoid looking like a mechanic is to pair different denim washes (like in this post) and throw in something feminine like a lace top, silk scarf or both. It’s such an easy trend and can put to use so many pieces you already have in your wardrobe like your favorite cut-offs and chambray shirt, perfect for the weekend!
Yesterday was a very sad day in this household upon learning about the passing of a musical favorite Prince. Like many I spent the day listening to his music and recollecting childhood moments when I had Purple Rain on a loop. I haven’t really thought much about Prince lately but always broke into dance when one of his tracks would come on, we unfortunately often don’t realize how much someone means to us until they’re gone! With that in mind have a wonderful weekend and spend it well with loved ones! Kiss to you all, xo Zia
