It’s definitely been the year of the knit dress for me – I love that this emerald sweater dress is a lighter knit and in this bold shade of green it’s giving major spring vibes. I actually wore this exact outfit to a St Patrick’s dinner celebration last week – perfect look to avoid getting pinched for not wearing the color of the day! I’m going to be totally honest in telling you that I was reluctant to post these photos because I felt like the knit fabric made my belly look less than perfectly flat (which it isn’t) and it also makes my boobs look huge (which they are not) so sweater dresses can be tricky to shoot but it is what it is and perfection is not the goal right? I definitely felt confident in this look and got many compliments on the dress while shooting and also at dinner, so why not?!
I often get asked how I am able to wear such high heels? Don’t they hurt my feet or cause permanent foot issues? – and the answer is I wear high quality overpronation insoles whenever I can to prevent the flattening of the arch. I love PowerStep insoles, they give your feet support with built in arch support and they make uncomfortable shoes comfortable with dual layer cushioning. There are different PowerStep insoles for different conditions and you can order your insoles in your exact size so no need to trim them and you can transfer them from shoe to shoe so all of your favorite heels or sneakers can take you miles. So now you know my secret to looking stylish and staying comfortable!
Have a wonderful weekend, we have full sunshine for the next few days and Im going to take in every second!
