Did everyone have a spectacular weekend? Mine was going so well until I was hit with some (mild) food poisoning after taking my husband out for a birthday dinner Saturday night. I won’t mention the name of the restaurant out loud but it was a downtown LA, rooftop sushi joint. The view was great, service fine, and the food went from mediocre to horrible after the stomach pains kicked in. We had a really lovely evening ending it with coffee and fresh Beignets at my all time favorite DTLA restaurant Bottega Louie, amazing food and so fun for people watching. I always have these great intentions of posting really cool Instagram photos of my weekend outings but I get caught up in the moment and forget to take pictures, but you know what? I think that’s a good thing!!!
I have always loved the look of scarves: big, thin, long, short I love them all! I received this gorgeous scarf from a Silpada Designs event I went to and love the versatility of it. I wore it poolside as a wrap last weekend and around my shoulders that same night. It makes doing the summer layers thing easy without being overwhelming and its so great to have handy when things get chilly as you’re sipping your fave cocktail at an ocean side bar!
I want to mention something I am extremely proud of: I was asked by RaekenLive (if you’re not familiar with it, is an online lifestyle magazine) to write an article for their fashion column and it is published and went live this weekend! Here is the link if you would like to read about my tips to making your clothes last forever! Happy Monday to you and thanks for visiting, kisses Zia
