Faux Leather Bermuda Shorts, Nautical Print.

I had this post up and ready to go Friday but with all the activity surrounding my birthday on the 28th I got very distracted and it didn’t happen. It all worked out though because starting out Monday with some fresh spring style and a bright pop of yellow makes me very happy! This gorgeous yellow nautical print blouse is another piece from the Cabi Clothing new spring collection and I gave it a little high fashion edge by pairing it with faux leather bermuda shorts and knee high boots. I also threw on this vintage Chanel inspired chain belt that I bought in a flea market in Paris in November because I loved the connection the chains and the ropes in the print had, they were clearly meant to be together. Im finding myself drawn to lots of 90’s trends lately and lucky for me I lived through the 90s and saved a lot of my fave pieces. I had a bag almost identical to this from Canadian luxury fashion department store but it got lost along the way, I’ve had this one from Rebecca Minkoff for several years now and with its classic shape and Chanel vibes it will always be in style.

I had a really amazing weekend celebrating another spin around the sun having dinner with just my boys on Friday and doing a night of margaritas and mariachi bands on Saturday with friends that have been celebrating with me for decades now. Although getting older isn’t easy I’m so grateful for all I have and the amazing life I live thanks for being a part of it!
