There’s nothing I love more than working with, or wearing, a brand that gives back to the community. The stunning, bright, happy floral print on this maxi skirt from Alivia Clothing was designed by a child with Autism and all their pieces start from artwork created by young people with disabilities which just warms my heart. I love that through art therapy these talented youths can see their amazing creations turned into beautiful clothing. Please support this kind of effort by shopping Alivia (linked below) and others that work with nonprofits, women’s groups, minorities or whichever cause is close to your heart. We can make a difference with how we spend our money.
It’s been a very strange week and has strangely gone by incredibly quickly. School started up again this week, remotely of course, we’re experiencing a very dangerous heat wave here in Southern California and I had not one but two photo shoots this week (which means I’m bringing you some amazing new content) not easy when the humidity is high and the temps are higher. The DNC convention has been on the last four nights stirring up emotion and all the while we are still juggling the restraints of Covid. We are strong and we will get through this and perhaps even find some joy through it all, we just have to make sure we stay kind and blow off any negativity. I hope you are staying informed and are registered to vote because it’s time to make some really important decisions!
I’m always so happy that you popped in for a visit, have a great weekend!
xoxo ~Zia
