French Lingerie & Other Secrets to Looking Chic.

I believe most fashion lovers, like myself, have a fascination with French women and their undeniable & inherent style. Are they born with a special gene? Is there a secret that’s passed down from their mothers and grandmothers? Will we ever know how the French manage to always look so perfect? One thing I do know is the French take their undergarments very seriously the word itself “Lingerie” is French, the first bra was designed in France, they even have their own lingerie association. Some of the hottest French Lingerie brands, household names for the French, are represented by trade association Lingerie Francaise.

Not only does Lingerie Francaise promote awareness of the brands they represent, they have an extremely informative blog, “Truly French” that is full of tips and articles that goes beyond lingerie and focuses on French style and culture as well, shining some light on all the things we would love to know about the French and their amazing style! Reading some of the fabulous posts has given me insight on how French girls think. Starting each outfit with some exquisite lingerie may just be what gives stylish French girls their confidence and allure. A great fitting bra that perhaps peeks out from under a low cut top, lacey underpants that make a girl feel desirable no matter what’s on top. That inner confidence most definitely adds a certain element of chic to any look or even if you’re just lounging around at home in a sexy camisole it really makes you feel good about yourself.
