Green Turtleneck Sweater: Festive Casual.

Not all holiday outfits need to be fancy and covered in sequins. This cropped green turtleneck sweater has all the holiday vibes and perfect for a casual Christmas gathering – I mean who doesn’t love a cozy sweater and roomy pants during the holidays? More space for stuffing, fondue, cookies or whatever your favorite holiday fare might be. These pants are from last year (see here) but with cargo pants and baggy pants in general totally on trend, I decided to pull them out again. The subtle green shade pairs well with the brighter hued sweater for a green on green outfit without looking like leprechaun. I added black accessories but a pop of red for an extra festive feel would be super cute too.

I was going to keep this short today because we were supposed to be leaving for our holiday trip – but due to extreme weather conditions our flight has been cancelled until further notice. Its definitely annoying to have travel plans disrupted but when it comes to flying I like to err on the side of caution. If the airlines feel its unsafe then so be it. Enjoy the shortest day of year, its all uphill from here!
