Green Western Boots, Feather Trimmed Blazer.

I cant tell you the joy (see photo above) I felt when I realized that my new green western boots were a perfect match not only to my new feather trimmed Zara blazer but also a pair of shorts I already had in my closet! My teenage son thought perhaps its too much green but I have to completely disagree since I think there is no such thing. I saw these boots in white when I went to visit my friends at the Steve Madden Clubhouse in New York last month, I knew I wanted a pair but had no idea until I went on their site that they also came in green and I couldn’t resist. You may recall I have a pair of green boots from last season that I wore regularly (see here) so no fear of these collecting dust at the bottom of my closet.

One of the biggest trends that I noticed in NYC during fashion week was feathers. I have probably mentioned this already but it bears repeating since the trend isn’t going anywhere and I think the holidays are going to have a major feather moment. I love that the feather cuffs on this particular blazer are removable so I can wear it without for a totally different vibe.
