Grey, Grey & Plaid

It’s 2017… how mind blowing is that? I’m always excited about fresh starts and new adventures but there’s also in a little sadness in saying goodbye to a year that was as wonderful and full of accomplishments as 2016 was. Looking back on my favorite and most proud moments of the year I would definitely count running my first marathon in May as a huge accomplishment for me personally and shooting a role for Modern Family was unbelievably fun and of course creatively fulfilling (see clip here) This blog grew beyond my wildest expectations this past year and I would have to call winning the Lee Jeans Styling contest and flying to North Carolina to shoot a series of styling videos as a definite highlight in my blogging world! My first look of 2017 is monochromatic shades of grey but that is not to reflect how I’m feeling at all; its all positivity, joy and enthusiasm over here and these sparkly green geode BaubleBar earrings are my way of showing it! I am so grateful to all of you who visit Hunter Collector and for inspiring me everyday to reach deeper into my styling creativity, Happy New Year! xo ~Zia
