A grey-on-grey outfit strikes the perfect balance between effortless cool and elevated style. I wanted to elevate the ensemble with silver accessories—silver earrings, a metallic bag and wedges—for a touch of sheen that complements the tonal palette. I also added a snakeskin belt and coat to introduce texture and a subtle pattern that breaks up the uniformity without overpowering it. The overall effect is minimalist with a twist. Whether you’re headed to a rooftop brunch or a casual evening out, this look blends sophistication with streetwise edge, proving grey is anything but dull.

I had and incredibly busy extra long weekend and it had nothing to do with festivals but rather life changing events. After living in Los Angeles for almost my entire adult life I finally became a US Citizen on Thursday. I’m not going to lie; its a very strange time to finally become a citizen but I will say it makes me feel a lot more comfortable with the idea of traveling outside the country.  We also went on a college tour road trip to check out a couple of the schools our son was accepted to, feeling a little emotional about this one, but it looks like he will be staying fairly close to home – more on that in the coming months.
