Khaki Trench, Denim, Fishnets.

All the makings of a classic 90s look:  fishnets, denim shorts, white shirt and khaki trench. The layers are light but perfect for the unbelievably warm weather we’ve been having in LA this winter.  If it were just a little cooler I would throw on a cashmere crew neck and/or a big chunky scarf for some extra warmth.  This white shirt is one of my new staples I love that its over-sized, also very 90’s. It is actually asymmetrical but with the half tuck you cant see that the hem is longer on one side than the other making it ideal for wearing over leggings or skinny jeans. Wearing tights with shorts is something I’ve been doing as long as I can remember. It extends the season you can wear shorts in, although I could frankly go bare legged here right now its so warm! This khaki trench from online clothing boutique Loosely (they also have the cutest housewares) is a year round staple Im hoping we acutally get some rain here soon so I can wear it more!

Hows your year going so far? Did you make any resolutions? As effective as they have been in the past I stopped doing making resolutions long ago, I’ve always been fairly goal oriented so I just make them frequently throughout the year and sometimes it does include cutting back on my shopping! xo ~Zia
