It’s not that I don’t like dresses, I just prefer separates because they’re easier to pass off as a new piece: you can mix and match with other items and create a completely new look. With a dress it’s harder to disguise, this black and white striped number however has seen me through a wedding (wore it with a yellow cardigan), client meeting (tied a chambray shirt at the waist) and an audition (threw on a bright blazer). In the cooler months ahead I foresee myself pulling a sweater on overtop and adding some tights and boots… Perhaps dresses are my thing after all!
