Navy Cashmere, Faux Fur Beanie.

I think one of the best things about cold weather clothing is how luxurious the fabrics can be. Soft velvets, fluffy faux fur and my favorite: cashmere! When I got my hands on this navy cashmere sweater I was in heaven! It’s so soft and warm (and not itchy) I never want to take it off!  I love the twist on the traditional crew neck or v-neck cashmere sweater style with this one shoulder making it a stylish piece not strictly utilitarian. I think when you’re trying to stay warm one can get into a rut of looking a little stuffy, not the case here so I will definitely be packing this sweater for my ski vacay next month for hanging by the fire sipping toddies in the lodge!

I love how perfectly my beautiful suede booties go with my latest bag from Ivory Clasp, which is a monthly handbag subscription site if your not familiar with it yet. I highly recommend this as a holiday gift if you’re still struggling with that whole thing like I am! Im getting close to finishing up my Christmas shopping and plan to have it finalized today so I don’t have to step foot in the mall again until its all over! I tell myself every year that I’ll get on it early but I never seem to have the impetus to do so. Oh well, I guess I have to accept its just who I am, maybe deep down inside I enjoy the pressure? Something to discuss with a therapist someday!
