Neon Yellow & Snake Print.

Neon yellow, high waisted denim, socks and heels… Im definitely having an 80’s moment right now. My son and I have been binge watching The Goldberg’s lately and it seems Ive been subconsciously inspired. I can’t get enough of the fabulous 80’s fashion (and music) on this show. Im in total disbelief that its been on for five years and we just caught on to how amazing it is, I even got my older brother hooked. Another 80’s & 90’s trend Im loving is the giant hair barrette, I have totally embraced my new shorter hair and love wearing barrettes and pins in it. Perhaps its to make up for the loss of length but Ill tell you when you’re having a bad hair day a hair accessory this gigantic will distract from anything!

I believe I’ve mentioned before how in love with Hidden Jeans I am, they really take denim design to another level and they’re so well priced. These extra high waisted pair are so polished they could worn to the office but cool enough to wear with a band tee and sneakers. I also have them in camo which I wore in this post and my favorite denim jacket of all time is also from Hidden (see here)

I know those of you who live in colder climates will have no sympathy for us here in California but it really has been very cold here this winter. Were neither accustomed to it nor are we prepared and so it seems worse than it probably really is. I will in my own defense remind everyone that I am Canadian and don’t ordinarily have a problem will cooler temps but I really am over it! Fortunately the rain has stopped for now and we can look forward to a sunny week ahead.
