I usually describe my style as classic meets “rocker chic” but the summer months most certainly bring out the feminine side of me. The warmer weather has me doing a lot more strolling and pieces like this baby pink circle skirt gives me freedom to move. Comfortable sandals are also essential, flats with lots of breathing room for your toes like these color block beauties from Cecelia NY are on MAJOR sale right now, I think I need to grab another pair in white.
I have been extremely diligent about wearing masks or some kind of face covering whenever I’m out in public. My go to when grocery shopping is a proper fitted mask but when I’m walking the dog or bike riding I usually just wear a bandana that I can pull up or down as needed. I found myself pulling the bandana up over my hair once I got home and I left it there because it not only made a great bad hair day cover but it looked super cute in 1960’s sort of way. With my hair in great need of a salon visit I’ve been looking for different ways to disguise the state it’s in and wearing a headscarf is a fun, colorful, chic way to do it.
This week went by extra, extra fast and at this point I’m ok with time speeding by the quicker we get through this era the better. Let me know what you are doing to stay busy this summer, I need some fresh ideas. Wishing you all a safe and lovely weekend,
