Orange Sorbet Shorts, Palm Print Top.

Ice cream in any and all its forms is my summertime weakness so wearing ice cream colored clothes just makes total sense. These high waist orange sorbet shorts are almost as delicious as the frozen treats themselves. I thought pairing them with a summery palm print top with my favorite trend, puff sleeves, gives the look a little edge especially since black and white isn’t your typical palm print color scheme. My style aesthetic always requires something a little edgy, can’t go around looking too sweet! I am always looking for ways to keep the sun off my face and popping a visor on is perfect for any outdoor activity and major added bonus: it doesn’t seem to mess your hair up as much as a regular hat.  I found this sun visor at Nordstrom last spring and I can’t believe how much use I get from it. I even just throw it on when walking from my car to the store, I’m all about preventing sun damage any way I can.

I am currently getting ready to go on a much needed road trip with my family. I know there are some people out there that dont think its safe to travel right now and I agree… to a certain extent. Our trip does not include any flights or hotels, we are staring in an AirBnB and they have very strict sanitizing codes and a minimum 24 hour gap between guests. I even purchased something on Amazon so I don’t have to use public restrooms along the way. I will definitely be getting a post up on the blog to recap the experience in the next few weeks but in the interim I hope you will follow along on Instagram I will be posting regularly!
