I am completely obsessed with the color block trend going on right now, I first noticed it when I was in Italy a few months ago and fell in love. Some of the color combos I saw were mind blowing and I even started a Pinterest page almost completely dedicated to it. Color is something I lean towards in summer anyway but pairing bold opposing colors like this magenta blouse and orange wide leg pants is just so much fun. My trick to color blocking is using a color wheel and putting together colors that are on opposite sides of the wheel. When I was a kid they would call that “clashing” colors but I prefer the term color-blocking. I was lucky to have this cute hair turban that matched the pants perfectly, Ive been living in them lately they cover up a bad hair day in a pinch. I accessorized the outfit with another bold pop of color with the yellow bag and my “new” vintage Chanel earrings. I got these 80’s era earrings on eBay and they needed a little work. I was able to find an amazing jeweler in my neighborhood who filled in the missing stones and added posts since they were clip ons (very 80’s) and now they are good as new. They elevate any outfit because… well they are Chanel!!!
Hope your week has been going smoothly, just a few more days til the weekend and were freeeeee! Hope to see you back here again soon! xo ~Zia
