Plaid Pants, Pink Top, Black Beret:

One of my all time favorite color combinations has to be pink and grey! These plaid pants which work so well for an office atmosphere pairs perfectly with this pink puff sleeve top but I would also wear them with a band tee and some ankle booties for a more relaxed weekend look. The soft fabric and tie waist makes these super well priced slacks from SoCal based online boutique Sugar High the easiest pants to throw on for just about any occasion. (FYI I had them hemmed so they’d be cropped) Im so happy to be moving in to hat season so Im pulling out all my favorites, this beret has been in my wardrobe for years (classics never go out of style) but I linked a similar version available at Nordstrom.

Its been quite a whirlwind of new stories this past few weeks and I although won’t comment on my feelings either way I will say that I will not be turning on any news programs this weekend because I need a break from it all! Sleeping in late and no news are all I have planned and it sounds heavenly, (maybe Ill sneak in a massage!) Hope you have some peace and serenity lined up for your weekend too! xoxo ~Zia
