Polka Dots, Polka Dot Shorts & Denim.

Im usually a believer in the rule that less is more but when it comes to polka dots, especially these polka dot shorts, more is definitely more! Print mixing with dots is usually foolproof; different sizes, different colors they all go together quite well! I can’t get enough of polka dots this summer so the more the merrier as far as Im concerned! I kept the circle theme going with a circle bag and another fabulous piece from Amlé jewelry! This mini tambourine choker is hand painted with a little cactus (succulent obsessed here) and gives this outfit the pop of color it needs. If you haven’t yet noticed, I have a very comprehensive collection of denim jackets but I have never been in love with one more than this one from Hidden Jeans. It is butter soft, perfectly frayed and as light as a chambray shirt so its absolutely perfect for summer, a definite must have for any of you denim jacket addicts out there!

Southern California is just coming off one of the worst heat waves I have ever experienced, its a scary reminder of the changes that are happening with our climate so just a friendly reminder to do everything we can to take care of beautiful Mother Earth! I personally recycle everything I can including every tag that comes off my new clothes, the boxes they come in and did you know that H&M will recycle your old clothes and give you a discount card when you turn them in?
