Red Boots, Denim & Fashion that Gives Back.

I heard this week on the news that Bill Gates is donating 50 Million to Alzheimers research, what an incrdibly  benevolent gesture, although this how I believe all Billionaires and major corporations should spend their money. To give back to the community and humanity in general is certainly money well spent! I don’t have that kind of money to give but I can spend my money in ways that give back to non-profit groups close to my heart.  Sevenly Clothing create tops and tees designed by artists and works with dozens of non profit groups, I can choose the cause that means most to me and they will donate to them. I chose Female Empowerment which is on everyone’s mind right now with everything going in the news and in the world and we should not stop until we have achieved a level of respect that women deserve! The choker I am wearing in this post is from Purpose Jewelry.  Purpose also give back to the community by working with women who have been rescued from human trafficking and with your purchase of their beautiful jewelry you are helping these young woman get their lives back! And finally my beautiful ethnic print duster is from local LA clothing line Bel Kazan. Designer, Belinda took a trip to Bali and fell in love with the people and culture inspiring her to start a socially conscious factory in Indonesia to create her clothing line. I love fashion with a story and what better story is there then one of helping your neighbors?
