Red, White & Pin Striped

I think we’re all probably guilty of forgetting why certain holidays exist and just enjoy the day off, I know I am. I made an effort to create a look that hinted toward the day we are celebrating today with patriotic colors and wearing a brand that’s an American institution. These linen slacks from Banana Republic couldn’t be more perfect they have that cool, slouchy fit making them ideal for a night out yet are polished enough for client meetings, or auditions for the “business executive”. I wore them with this crisp metallic white T-shirt from LA online boutique Riley & Coco (keeping in with the US theme) and gave the outfit just a little pizazz with some lace-up heels and fringe earrings! We have been having an extremely low key weekend sleeping in super late, gardening and we finished our marathon of “House of Cards” last night, that show never disappoints!
