Red Zebra Striped Dress, Pink Accessories.

It has definitely been hard to motivate to dress up during the covid lockdown but I find that when I do feel like looking better than my usual hair in a bun and sweatpants style, I reach for an easy breezy dress.  This fun red zebra striped dress from cabi clothing has been one that I find myself reaching for over and over. Without the accessories and flip flops on my feet, I feel polished but not overdone and comfortable enough to go grocery shopping in. I admittedly feel a little self conscious over dressing when I go out into public these days.  I know it’s my own issue but somehow it feels weird to look super dressed up while store workers a risking their lives just by going to work. If you don’t feel that way and are okay going all out this dress can certainly handle some fun accessories. I went with a matching pink belt with an acrylic buckle, my tried and true pink Cult Gaia ark bag and vintage Chanel earrings to give it some serious glam. Im sure some of you have noticed I wear these gold mules a lot and that’s because they go with everything. The gold, barely there straps make them completely neutral and they’re very leg lengthening as well.

Well that week went by super fast, I guess Monday actually did feel like a holiday. I know a lot of businesses are starting to slowly open and right now I’m okay with my hair, lashes and nails the way they are but there is nothing I want more than to go out for dinner again. Still waiting to get the green light but I am ready and willing whenever my favorite sushi spot opens up again! In the meantime it’s still home cooked meals and the occasional take out!
