Just when I thought I was totally over the blingy, bold necklace I see someone wearing one and I get pangs of envy wishing I had one on too… so for the time being I will continue on with this trend, especially on a day like today when I feel like I need some sparkles and glitz; Today is my birthday which at one time was the greatest day of the year and it needed to be celebrated with fervor, now I wake up feeling a bit melancholy about getting older and reflective on what I have achieved in my life. I certainly can’t complain about the way things are going, I have a wonderful husband, a (ridiculously) amazing son, a beautiful home, I have a busy career and now this fabulous blog! Getting older definitely has it’s downside but it doesn’t mean you can’t always look spectacular which is what I plan on doing…FOREVER! xo Zia
