Staying In Neutral Territory.

You know I love color and rarely venture into neutral territory but I decided to give it a try with a Reels/TikTok video and got such an incredible response from my audience that I thought it would be a good idea to also share my looks here. I apologize for the slightly blurry photos but I didn’t go into it thinking I would be posting here so I pulled the best of the best.

This one shoulder sweater is from last summer and continues to be one of my favorites.  I also kept the tones neutral when I styled it then (see here) I love pairing it with cooler weather fabrics like this suede skirt to transition it into fall.

I have been living in these white trousers all summer, they work so well with earth tones.  I first styled them with a matching blazer last fall and wore it with a chocolate brown bustier (see here) I also wore it on my summer cruise with a brown/white zebra print bra top, cant go wrong with a great pair of white pants.

All the pieces here are old(ish) except the shoes- I think thats the beauty about neutral pieces is that they’re not immediately identifiable so you can wear them over & over for years and no one will accuse you of always wearing the same thing!

I’ve never been against muted tones, its just that color is so much more fun- I did however learn from creating this post that I actually really loved these outfits, especially the first one – don’t be surprised if you see a lot more beige and grey in my posts!
