A crazy thing happened the day that I shot this look…it rained!!! Out of nowhere, while we were shooting, rain clouds swept in and it down it came and it came down hard! I know in most places in the world this would not be a big deal but in LA we’re usually warned well in advance when the rain is coming and even then its still a big shock so needless to say this was completely unexpected… and yes I know my hair is really frizzy! Just wanted to make this disclaimer so that you don’t think Im slacking off in the grooming dept.
When asked to describe my style I usually say something like “classic with some rock chic or boho mixed in” and its classics like this button down tweed skirt that Im talking about. This is a skirt that will forever live in my closet much like a white button shirt or a black blazer, it will never go out of style. I do like to mix things up with classic pieces by adding something unexpected like a ruffled top or some amazing footwear like these gorgeous thigh high boots but some tights and black pumps would do if you’re heading into the office!
