You may recall a few months back I mentioned speaking in front of city council in an effort to improve the safety measures around my son’s school which happens to be across the street from our house. After banding together with my neighbors and other concerned parents and pet owners, a multitude of emails and meetings later I have won my prize: stop signs are being installed as I write this. I am extremely proud of this accomplishment and am reminded that we do have the power to make change in this country. I think I have caught a little (political) fever and may consider running for city council one day, although I would have to add a few power suits and pencil skirts to my wardrobe! Until then I will be enjoying the flirty skirts and leopard prints that are part of my core wardrobe.
