Im a believer in the power of the white shirt in all its many forms. It should be a staple in every woman’s closet since they can make anything look chic, I own a multitude of white shirts in different styles and fabrics; short sleeved, long sleeved, sleeveless, French cuff… the list goes on. This layered top from designer Anne Fontaine is a very unconventional approach to the white shirt but is still as classic as ever and can be worn just about anywhere. I dressed this embroidered bell sleeve top down a bit with some distressed denim but will wear it with a full skirt for a more dressed up look and with something shorter like a miniskirt for a fun night out with the girls but any way you wear it it’s still a classy & classic look. Anne Fontaine started her clothing line with the white shirt as her inspiration and you will find an amazing selection of different styles of white shirts on the site because you should always be in the market for new one! I’m extremely happy that its been quite cool and cloudy in LA the last week since Ive been back from New York where the fall vibes were in full swing. I am loading up on fall footwear which is my favorite season for shoes, I love ankle boots and so happy they are very big this season! This pair of red caged heels won’t take me too far into fall but for now they are on major repeat because not only are they gorgeous they are very comfortable for such a high heel, oh and they look amazing with a white shirt! Happy Tuesday (I almost said Wednesday, wishful thinking!) xo ~Zia
