The idea of a long floral skirt conjures up images of Laura Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie therefore not something I would ordinarily think to wear. This floral maxi skirt however is definitely not 19th century prairie girl, the modern floral pattern and thigh high slit bring it clearly into present day. I love white button down shirts for all occasions. This camp style shirt is a perfect way to add a classic element to any outfit and the short sleeves make it ideal for summer, I’ll definitely be getting a lot of wear out of it for years to come. Low heeled or flat sandals have been my go to choice this summer and for a dedicated heel wearing girl thats a big change. I just got these cute little pink “suede” heels from Shoeland and they’re not only adorable but very comfortable and flattering I have them linked below along with a discount code so you can get a pair of your very own!
I hope you all had a chance to grab an Ice Cream cone yesterday to celebrate one of the most important holidays of the year: International Ice Cream Day! My family and I hopped on our bikes after dinner to burn off some calories and support our local gourmet Ice Cream parlor, Quenelle (my flavor of choice was strawberry shortcake and chocolate of course!) It was an absolutely perfect summer evening! Thanks for popping by and I hope your Monday is an easy one! xo ~Zia
