Yellow Ruffle Skirt, One Shoulder Top.

In the heat of the summer nothing feels better than wearing light, flowy pieces like this yellow ruffle skirt and one shoulder cotton blouse. This outfit definitely has a romantic vibe and would be perfect for a dinner date on the beach or even a casual outdoor wedding. You know I always love to add a pop of extra color to my looks and this lavender bucket bag is so complimentary of the soft yellow in my shoes and skirt.

With so much more exposed skin this time of year, summer also has me loading up on more jewelry and Im loving layering necklaces right now. I pulled a few out of the archives but recently added this mother of pearl chocker to the mix (linked below). The white of the pearl and shimmery gold seems to pull all my pieces together for a beachy, bohemian chic look.

I just got back from a quick staycation with my boys and will be posting all about it next week. Since we had this mid week getaway we will be keeping things pretty low key this weekend.
