I hope everyone had a phenomenal Christmas, we most certainly did, we started the day with a hike to Diamond Head and had an amazing dinner overlooking the beach and the most beautiful sunset. Once the sun was down we had an up close and personal fireworks display which we watched from the beach, Mai Tais in hand.  Since I last posted we flew over to the Big Island which we have been exploring for the past few days, it is such a change from Oahu and I am feeling a little fashion deprived here! It’s all tropical rainforests and volcano craters, we’ve spotted many endangered species such as the Nene bird and giant sea turtles. We are staying in a private cottage while on Hawaii I had a moment last night while trying to get this post up, and struggling with the wifi, when I realized just how isolated we are: little cottage in the middle of the jungle (in the Volcano park) on this island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean…really cool but just a little disconcerting as well! We head back to Waikiki later today but not before we go check out some spectacular water falls, follow along on Instagram to see where we go!
