The Hunter Collector

 

LA doesn’t have a lot of neighborhoods where you can just pop out your front door and access amenities. Magnolia Park is one of those districts where you can walk a few blocks and shop, dine, do your banking and get great coffee. My friend Kerry recently opened an amazing café, Romancing the Bean. It is not only wonderfully ambient, it has some of the best coffee and desserts in the Valley… it also happens to attract some very well dressed patrons, so I had to dress accordingly…Have a safe and fun Halloween!!!

Since I spend so much time working on my laptop, my optometrist recommended getting “computer glasses” even though I have 20/20 vision. Instead of being upset by having to wear glasses for the first time in my life, I was excited to have another accessory to incorporate into an outfit. I went with Warby Parker frames because I loved the idea of the at home try on. You pick five styles and they mail you the frames so you can try them on at home and make a definitive choice over the course of a few days instead of a few minutes at the store. I’m having trouble getting used to having to wear them but do I love my new specs!

This is my first weekend in months where I have no obligations and nothing planned except a trip to the pumpkin patch…beautiful fall weather, comfy, casual clothes and time alone with my boys! Have a great weekend!

Capturing two trends in one, this Moschino plaid-overall-romper has been in my wardrobe for a VERY long time. I paid almost a months rent for it back when I didn’t know any better and I’m (not so) secretly glad I went through that period of buying way beyond my means!

We had a house full of guests this weekend in support of the Light the Night walk that we do each year to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
