A friend of mine recently asked I would be interested in shooting with him, his photography style is certainly more artistic in nature than I usually use for blog posts but I was up for the adventure. We both really wanted to capture Downtown LA and the architecture of the amazing 4th and 6th street bridges before they get torn down in the coming months, it was all very experimental but I love the results. We couldn’t have picked a better day it was so beautiful out and aside from being tons of fun the shoot was very eventful to say the least: we witnessed a few police chases, a video being shot in the LA river and my dashing photog friend couldn’t go a minute without receiving a cat call from a passerby, haha! And if you’ll allow for a moment of reminiscence, this particular spot is directly across the street from one of the locations we shot the film I met my husband on many years ago… my how this area has changed since then, just down the street is some of the best coffee in town at Blue Bottle Coffee which we of course stopped in for, I can never pass up good coffee no matter the time of day!
