All my favorite boys (son, hubs, brother) and I hopped in the car and headed up the coast a few days. We stopped for lunch on the pier amongst the seagulls in Pismo, watched the elephant seals do their molting, sparring, mating thing in San Simeon and finally reached our first destination: Big Sur. My husband booked us into the most charming Air B&B a half mile away from Pfeiffer beach. It was a perfectly decorated mid-century architecture meets Japanese modern decor cabin in the middle of the forest (hence no internet for two days and a skipped blog post). We spent the first evening drinking rose in front of the fire and chatting about just about everything but mostly reminiscing about our childhood. The next day we spent an overcast day picnicking on the beach and exploring. Yesterday we moved further up the coast and stopped at several breathtaking points along the way, stopped for lunch on Cannery Row in Monterey and ended up in Yosemite where our adventure continues today.
Todays outfit fully embodies how I’m feeling right now: happy, comfortable and inspired! The bell sleeved top from Mint Julep Boutique (now on sale), perfectly worn in denim shorts and my all time favorite booties combined giving me confidence and freedom to do anything. Although with the weather here in Yosemite today (drizzly chances of snow) I won’t be wearing anything like this, I’m still definitely feeling it! Well I’m off to conquer a mountain I hope your weekend is full of love and adventure and Happy Mothers Day to all you fashionable mammas out there! Kisses Zia
