Black and Tan: Trench Coat and Baggy Trousers.

I think one of the best color combinations out there is black and tan. Both classic colors, typically considered neutrals, they look good on just about anyone and together they are magical. I was inspired by this cabi striped sweater from the archives and wanted to build an outfit around the colors. Its not an exact match to the trench but it still very complimentary. I think certain shades in the darker brown family are hard to pair together but anything tan, beige or camel is a little more forgiving. Ive been wanting to feature these perfect baggy black trousers from Darling for a little while now and I’ve got two looks with them coming your way soon. I did wear them here but really felt they deserved their own post. They are pefect for the office, a causal look like I showed here or dressed up with a fabulous top and heels maybe a blazer to give it a suit look – they are fabulously versatile.
