Certain outfits just feel right, almost like you’re in a second skin – it’s like you feel completely yourself in them and that’s how I felt when I wore this black maxi skirt paired with cowboy boots and a tube top. I was admittedly a little opposed to the return of 90s style (maybe it feels too soon?) but since I have been immersing myself in it I feel like I’m in my element and being the most true to my real style I have been in years. I lived in cowboy or combat boots in the 90’s and black was of course THE only color you wore back then and although I do like color Im loving muted tones right now. I believe fashion is a reflection of the era and 2023 is definitely an era of neutral colors.
I am scrambling to get myself ready for our trip to Hawaii this week – there’s never enough time is there? If I miss packing something I just have to remember I will survive!
