Black Slip Skirt, Striped Off Shoulder Top.

This black slip skirt was such a necessary addition to my wardrobe – it’s such a perfect hot weather piece that can be dressed up or down. I think I’ve consistently had satin midi skirts in my wardrobe since they first became popular in the 90s – I’ve worn them with band tees and cowboy boots for a weekend casual look, camisoles for a full slip dress effect and I love the way it looks with the black and white off shoulder top with comfy black sandals for a very European summer vibe.

Another classic piece I’ve been wearing regularly is a simple gold chain around my neck – something that sparkles but doesn’t get annoying when you’re hot.
