I didn’t think I’d be wearing crop tops this late in life but I figure I’ll wear want I want as long as I feel good in it, there are no longer any rules in fashion right?! I love this little blue crop top its the perfect transition piece from winter to spring, the collar is like a nod to cold weather sweaters but it’s sleeveless and midriff baring which is all spring. It’s still a little chilly around here so I always like to have a layer handy like a classic blazer, denim jacket or cardigan and it also makes it possible to wear something like this in a more professional setting or zoom call as has been the case lately.
I know it’s not officially spring yet but the return to daylight savings time and longer days is good enough for me to signify the start of a new season. Spring is most definitely my favorite season because it is a time for new beginnings and I think this year it is more meaningful than ever. We have so much to look forward to as vaccines are rolled out, Covid numbers drop and things begin to normalize. I get incredibly emotional thinking about “normal” I hope we never forget to appreciate how special life is when we are able to live freely and spend time with other humans.
Wishing you all a lovely week ahead and enjoy those longer days, I know I will!
