When I shop for clothes I look beyond just the style. I like to know that the brands I am supporting as a consumer and an influencer do something for the community and/or environment. When I came onboard as an ambassador for Cabi Clothing I already knew they were a female run organization and they are committed to encouraging and empowering women in several different ways. One way Cabi gives back is through their Make a Change program where you can round up the change to your purchase which goes to helping educate young women in Rwanda. Last year they raised 300k just from the change donated through purchases, which is amazing since they were able to build 6 classrooms with just 20 thousand dollars. Another way Cabi raises money to benefit women is with purchases from a single item known as the Heart of Cabi item where a portion of the proceeds from sales go help women in local communities. With every new Cabi stylist that joins the team a woman entrepreneur in a developing country will be given a loan in the name of the stylist!  I am so thrilled to be a part of the Cabi team not only because I love Cabi style but I really love being a part of a movement that empowers women! We as consumers can make a difference by spending our money on items from companies with a conscience.
