Classic Tweed, Faux Leather.

I have always been torn between my love for the classics and my inner wild child. I’ve learned not to fight my love for a classic tweed jacket nor for my love of vintage band tees and faux leather so I don’t and I just mix it up.  On my off days I’m typically found in a band tee and jeans so dressing up means throwing on my fave paper bag waist shorts and my newest love this fabulous zip front tweed jacket or some other variation on this theme. It could be a leather jacket and sequin skirt, or blazer and jeans Im just really a fan of mixing masculine and feminine, old and new and of course classic and rocker. Throwing in a fabulous bag and/or shoes ultimately makes the outfit and this amazing satchel from Grafea is the latest in my collection. I love a white bag in winter its such a fresh change from all the black everywhere!

I am really into colored socks and patterned tights this season, when it gets a little colder I’ll start wearing more tights but for now its olive green socks to add a little pop of color and it’s also a nod to the holiday season! I am so, so ready for Christmas.  I’m really excited to see friends and fam I haven’t seen in forever and particularly excited to eat, drink, sleep late and binge watch movies! Yep that’s what Christmas means to me!  What are the holidays about for you?
