As I write this my city is burning – me and my family are safe but so many of our friends and co workers have been evacuated, lost their homes or office structures. My favorite beach community, Malibu, has been hit hard again and our favorite beachside cafe has burned to the ground. All of this being said talking about fashion seems unimportant and maybe out of touch, but I have to remember that most of my readers are not based in the Los Angeles area – and as I did during Covid I will continue to do what I do in case it helps even one person get through the day.
This is a look I posted on Instagram right before the holidays and although it had a bit of a festive feel I love how burgundy is a color not just for the holidays. Im definitely loving the trend of wine colored clothing and this burgundy leather midi skirt looked so delicious I knew I need one in my wardrobe, along with another sheer top (I admit Im obsessed) Im making an effort to shop my own closet more these days so Im wearing some older pieces like this grey blazer from last fall and these knee high boots. Ive done my best to link similar items below.
Thanks so much for visiting, stay safe out there! xoxo Zia
